Manager, Nutrition & Health Programs - National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (Centennial, CO)

The Manager, Nutrition & Health Programs supports day-to-day project management, including the administration, execution, and evaluation of educational and outreach programs targeting credentialed nutrition, health, and medical experts aimed at increasing beef knowledge and encouraging science-based advocacy for beef’s role in healthy and balanced diets. This position is located in Centennial, Colorado and is not a remote position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

· Track program measurable objectives progress and outcomes monthly and quarterly.

· Assist with collecting, organizing, and maintaining summaries of project analytics outcomes and impacts.

· Assist in shepherding contracts through the approval processes by coordinating and tracking associated documentation through each stage, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to requirements.

· Develop and maintain dashboards to track performance metrics for nutrition, health, and medical expert engagement.

· Support program managers in coordinating meetings, preparing meeting materials and documenting key outcomes.

· Aid in presentation development for nutrition and/or stakeholder audiences.

· Manage the nutrition content review and approval process.

· Contribute to the identification of tools and processes that improve program efficiency without compromising quality.

· Manage and support state beef council nutrition requests.

· Manage the execution of email and marketing communication using automation platforms such as Mailchimp.

· Manage processes related to the “back-end” infrastructure of nutrition web-based platforms, such as WordPress.

· Serve on cross-organizational teams as needed.

· Represents the organization at national health and nutrition conferences and industry events.

· Oversees program budgets, including invoice processing and expense tracking.

· Ability to travel overnight up to 25% which may include occasional weekend trips.

· Other job duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· EDUCATION – A degree in Agricultural Communications, Agricultural Business, Nutrition, Science, or Marketing.

· EXPERIENCE – The ideal candidate will have experience in the food, nutrition, health and/or agricultural industry and experience with influencer marketing, public relations agency and/or health professional content creation or science translation desired.

· EQUIVALENCY - None 

· CERTIFICATION(S) – None

· SKILLS- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and time management skills, and ability to multi-task are critical for this role. Successful applicants are task-oriented, must be able to effectively collaborate with team members with different work styles to deliver outcomes, receive constructive feedback, and be active listeners. They must also be comfortable operating in a fast-paced work environment and learning new systems. Proficiency in Excel is desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint, is expected.
