Position Overview
As a Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to oversee and provide optimal nutrition therapy to a case load of clients. You will develop care plans by conducting nutrition assessments, monitoring on-going medical conditions, and through collaboration with the other members of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will work directly with patients and their families providing support and nutritional education.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
On Call and holiday coverage as assigned
How Registered Dietitians Empower Recovery
Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients in accordance with policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning.
Provides group nutrition education as assigned.
Provides active meal coaching and support for patients and families/communities of support, including participating in and completing Therapeutic Supported Meals/Snacks as appropriate and as assigned.
Provides nutrition specific transition/aftercare planning for all patients including communication with internal and external dietitians to ensure coordination of care.
Collaborates with Nutrition and Culinary Manager and nutrition team when needing or providing clinical coverage.
Qualifications
Registered Dietitian credential required
Current license in the state of employment (Georgia) required
One year of clinical experience
