Full-Time Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Nourish Life (Cambridge, MA + Hybrid)
Nourish for Life is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our private practice. Our specialties include: eating disorders, disordered eating, body image counseling, digestive health, and sports nutrition. Our therapeutic practice is based on the foundations of Health At Every Size® and Intuitive Eating, while providing evidence-based nutrition counseling to our clients.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organizational skills, that is detail-oriented, adaptable and flexible. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively on a team, yet also be motivated to work independently. Our dietitians work a hybrid schedule, seeing clients in-person at our office and virtually.
This position is hourly, and will begin as part-time, building up to a full-time caseload of 22-24 clients per week. We expect the build up to be achieved within 2-3 months after hiring, but this may vary. Employees working full-time (30+ hours per week, which includes client and administrative time) are eligible for benefits.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide evidence-based care and medical nutrition therapy to diverse clients.
Document clinical notes completely, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records for each client.
Utilize therapeutic modalities as appropriate when counseling behavior changes.
Be familiar with various treatment options to make referrals as needed.
Collaborate with an outpatient team of providers and develop lasting relationships
with clinicians in our community..
Participate in supervision regularly and as assigned.
Assist with administrative and marketing tasks as needed.
Potential for assisting with groups and presentations as needed.
Candidate requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a dietitian.
At least 1 year experience with eating disorders or GI nutrition is preferred.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Licensed RDN in Massachusetts.
Master’s degree preferred.
Intuitive Eating and Health At Every Size® informed.
Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve in complex situations.
