Would you like to help increase diversity in the nutrition profession?
Whether you're a practicing RDN, a student, or a supporter, you can help us build a more equitable, inclusive future for nutrition and dietetics. Click below to explore how you can get involved.
Practicing RDNs
Connect with a supportive community, access professional development opportunities, and mentor future nutrition leaders.
Students & Dietetic Interns
Find mentorship, resources, and community to help you thrive throughout your nutrition journey.
Donors
Help us build a more equitable field by funding programs that support and elevate nutrition professionals and students of color.
“The demographic profile of [nutrition] practitioners is essentially unchanged since 2007.”
Meanwhile, patients and clients are becoming more diverse.
An ethnically and culturally diverse group of nutrition students will lead to a diverse group of RDNs, creating a profession that can draw on the strengths of all segments of society. Students of color need mentors and resources to navigate the RDN education pathway. RDNs working as educators and dietetic internship directors need resources to attract, educate and train people of color.
Our Mission
To increase the racial and ethnic diversity in the field of nutrition by empowering nutrition leaders of color.
