Registered Dietitian- Part Time (Nashville, TN)
REGISTERED DIETITIAN, PART-TIME
We are seeking an expert in the field who continues to learn and grow as science catches up with what we’ve known all along---dieting does not work! Our practice is weight inclusive and subscribes to HAES, or health at every size. We do not tout meal plans and self-control; rather, we seek to partner with our clients to provide individualized plans to improve health behaviors and determine wellness on an individual level.
The NNP Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling to clients using a non-diet, Health At Every Size approach. As the client’s lead nutrition advocate, they collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members for the purpose of providing the best care experience. When not working one-on-one with clients, NNP Dietitians participate in and lead various projects within the company in support of the vision to transform the way clinicians practice and the way clients think about and experience their health. NNP Dietitians maintain their expertise in nutrition by staying up to date with the latest nutritional research, intensely listening to and learning from their clients’ lived experiences, and leaning on the knowledge and wisdom of respected colleagues. In addition to being a great communicator, critical thinker, and leader, an NNP Dietitian is also innovative and highly self-motivated.
